10 employees suspended as Admin conducts surprise visit in Rajouri | KNO

Rajouri, May, 17 (KNO) : As many as 47 government institutions were inspected during surprise inspection in Rajouri. The checking, which was conducted by a team of officers across the border district were conducted by Additional Deputy Commissioners, SDMs and other revenue officers. The inspection was conducted under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Mohammad Aijaz Asad in order to review the status of the facilities being provided to the general public and punctuality among the employees. It is pertinent to mention here that this is a second major inspection being carried out in Government offices in this week. Against strength of 478 officials posted in these institutions, 309 were present while 17 were absent from duty and 50 others on leave. Four more were shown on deputation. Taking strong note of staff absenteeism Deputy Commissioner Rajouri placed the following employees under suspension including Shabir Ahmed, Sr. Assistant (Chief Education Office Rajouri), Anil Kumar(subdivision EM & RE),Piyash Sharma, (PHE civil Division Rajouri), Nikhil Sharma Jr. Assistant ( Chief Education Officer Rajouri), Mohd Shafi Wani, Dy. Inspector (Fisheries),Mohd Naseer, Field Supervisor (Fisheries), Shamin Akhter, LHV (PHC Thanamandi), Mohd Naseem, HTG-IV( HDO, Thanamandi), Maqbool Ahmed HTG-IV (HDO office Thanamandi) and Shabeer Ahmed(Animal Husbandry office, Kotranka) While the following contractual employees who were found absent from duties have been directed to explain their position why the contract should not be terminated, officials said, adding that the employees include Davinder Kumar,Mohd Ishaq,Saima Nadeem,Abdul Qyoom,Imtiaz Ahmed ,Rabia and Najma kouser. Al the heads of all institutions have been reiterated to maintain up to date leave accounts of the employees on daily basis and ensure proper attendance records of their institutions. DC added that no laxity would be allowed in maintenance of proper discipline, punctuality in govt offices in the interest of greater common good and efficient public service delivery.(KNO)
